CHARLIE BERTINI'S - APPLEJAZZ FESTIVAL *SELLS OUT * A CENTRAL NEW YORK HISTORIC MUSIC EVENT

The famed 28th Annual  AppleJazz Festival 2012 was held last night (June 2) at Dwyer Memorial Park, Little York Lake, NY before a sell  out crowd. The historic event featured the talents of many of the top musicians that America has to offer.


Doors opened at 5 PM, music started at 6 PM. Charlie Bertini's all-star musical lineup included- Dave Hanlon (drums), Mark Doyle (guitar), Ronnie France (bass), Ronnie Leigh (vocals), Jeff Phillips (keyboard), John Allred (trombone, fresh from performing in the Broadway show "How to Succeed in Business" and others), Terry Myers (sax & clarinet, who now will lead the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra), Lauren-Jessica Bertini (vocals), Denise Aubrey-Bertini (backing vocals), Jim Reagan (saxophone) along with  bandleader  Charlie Bertini (trumpet). Attendees celebrated the release of Ronnie Leigh's first solo Cd "Ronnie Leigh Live at AppleJazz." This historic event brought out many other famed musicians as Frank DeFonda, Dick Bottoff, David "Rock" Feinstein, Jim Reagan, Vince Faroni, Terry Mingle to name just a few.

AppleJazz the 29th Edition is being planned for Memorial weekend 2013
