Fifty years after it was first recorded (1961) at Syracuse's Riposo Studio Don Barber and The Dukes have re-recorded their classic song "I'll Be Blue." You can now view a special 50th anniversary video on utube. It includes historic photos of the band as well as the new and original vinyl versions of the song. Band members include- Don Barber, Dave Blatchley, Skip Seyerle and Bob Story.
Watching the video I noticed the band played at Cortland's Hollywood Restaurant back on New Years Eve- December 31, 1961. The Hollywood is currently owned by David "Rock" Feinstein recently inducted into the SAMMY's Hall of Fame.
