HISTORY OF SYRACUSE MUSIC - CHAPTER 52 - ROLLING STONES RETURN TO SYRACUSE - JULY 6, 1966

Nine months after their first Syracuse appearance the Rolling Stones return to the War Memorial at 8 PM on July 6, 1966. The show was sponsored by Hubbub Productions and WOLF Radio. The Stones were on tour promoting their newest album "Out of Our Head." The MC that evening was WOLF's night time star Dale Dorman who appeared on stage wearing a white tuxedo..

The Rolling Stones performed the following songs- Not Fade Away, The Last Time, Paint It Black, Stupid Girl, Spider and the Fly, Lady Jane, Mother's Little Helper, Get Off My Cloud, 19th Nervous Breakdown and ended with Satisfaction.

Other acts performing were Little Rick (Mozzo) and The DelShayes (from Syracuse later known as the Endless Knight sang Little Latin Lupe Lu, Bring It On Home to Me & Major Workout) The Tradewinds (New York is a Lonely Town, Fun, Fun, Fun & Mr Tambourine Man), The Standells (Dirty Water, Gloria, Good Lovin & Shout), and The McCoys with Rick Derringer (Hang on Sloopy, Fever, Come On Let's Go, & Baby Won't You Drive My Car).
