1900 PROGRAM OF "BEN HUR" PLAYING AT SYRACUSE'S WIETING OPERA HOUSE FOUND

During my recent travels I found a  March 22-24, 1900 concert program of the classic play "Ben Hur" that was playing at that time at  the Wieting Opera House in downtown Syracuse. This 20-page program listed "Ben Hur" as staged by the Klaw & Erlanger Company and starred Alpeonz Ether (a few years before the Ben Hur we know, Charlton Heston) with music by Edgar Stillman Kelly

Note- Horses, Coach. Livery and Baggage Express offered by Burns Brothers

Also- G.W Clark will be moving to their new quarters in "Clark Music Building" 416-420 So. Salina Street. "Clark Music- "The Music House of Quality". Pianos, Musical Goods Of All Kinds.

The Wieting Opera House at the time was managed by John Kerr,  Executive Staff managers Charles Towle &  Elwood Cooke
